Purpose:
To coordinate the construction of the offshore element of the Kashagan Experimental Project and other projects.
To manage other projects associated with the maintenance and upgrade of existing offshore assets.
To coordinate the offshore civil construction activities in the North Caspian Sea in support of the Company exploration, appraisal and related offshore construction activities.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Coordinating, supervising and administering the activities of Client’s offshore construction.
Coordinate the offshore construction activities of new offshore projects, instigated by the Client.
Ensuring that all works are completed to the agreed program, are executed to the required quality acceptance criteria and are carried out to the highest HSE standards.
Development and training of staff, particularly Kazakh local staff.
Actively developing the capabilities of the local and regional construction contractors and suppliers with particular emphasis on HSE and QC aspects.
Maintaining good working relationships with the local authorities and regulators. Assist in obtaining the necessary local and regional permits and licenses.
Manage the performance and delivery from selected Contractors.
Ensure compliance with the Regulatory Approvals procedures.
Ensure a smooth and effective transfer of data and information between Contractors and from the Contractor to Client.
Coordinate visits/audits at Contractor/Fabricator/ Vendor/ Installation Contractor facilities or work sites.
Pursue activities defined within the approved HSE and Audit Plans.
Development and training Kazakhstan personnel assigned to the Project team
Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have
Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Building Engineering.
Minimum of 20 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in a role similar to that described here.
Offshore survival certification including HUET
